“Building character creates culture.”

I’m Coach Ed, a high school football coach. It is my passion to work hard, lead, and take varsity football programs to new heights. I achieve this by taking responsibility for every action in and around my football program; that means on and off the field. I value culture and accountability and believe it all starts with me. I’m all about football being fun but in a disciplined fashion.

mission

“If you believe in yourself and have the courage, the determination, the dedication, the competitive drive and if you are willing to sacrifice the little things in life and pay the price for the things that are worthwhile, it can be done.” --Vince Lombardi

I am, and always will be, a believer that the best way to achieve success as a coach is to lead by example. In my experience through coaching and playing, if the Head Coach does not provide leadership through a positive example then the players will never respect them. As a result, they will never really give the coaches, their teammates, or the program their best effort. This is especially important with this generation of athletes who desire accountability and relatability. If I demonstrate character with vision and structure, those things will produce results. And that’s CULTURE! Because athletes are often watched and recognized, especially when representing school attire, it’s my mission to show them how to set a good example in the community and on campus.

vision

“How you do anything is how you do everything” -- Martha Beck

The importance of culture is something I will teach young men each day. Our new generation of athletes responds well to those who are relatable and can understand their situation. It is my vision to first motivate and teach each young man how to prioritize their academic success. Without education you are ineligible, making you unable to help the football program. And next to support and care for them on and off the field. We are a family and our athletes, parents, and staff must share that connection.
